What do the colors in Slack notifications for modified assets mean?
These colors are based on asset certifications, which are as follows:
- Green = Verified
- Yellow = Draft
- Red = Deprecated
- Blue = No certificate
How do I send messages or search assets from Slack?
Slack is integrated with Atlan. However, sending messages and searching assets from Slack are disabled. You cannot push messages from Slack to Atlan directly. You can, however, add a Slack thread to an asset profile in Atlan using the Slack icon.
In the channel that you've integrated with Atlan, you can use the /search-term <term_name> command to search for glossary terms or the /search-query <saved query name> command to search for queries.
Why am I getting a There was error processing the request message?
If you encounter a There was error processing the request error message while attempting to take action on a request in Slack, this means that the request is no longer active in Atlan. That may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The request raised was being approved by two or more approvers simultaneously.
- The request was deleted by the requester.
