Why do I get an authentication error when logging in via Okta for the first time?

It is possible that your Okta account is not yet linked with your Atlan account.

Here are three possible ways to troubleshoot:

  • Ensure that the service provider metadata details are copied accurately.
  • If you're logged into Atlan while going through the email verification step, please log out from Atlan and complete the verification process as outlined here.
  • Once you've logged out of Atlan, clear your browser cache and then continue.
