How to create a new classification

🤓 Who can do this? You will need to be an admin user in Atlan to create classifications.

To create a new classification:

From the left menu of any screen, click Governance.
Under Governance click Classifications and then add a new classification:
1. If you have no classifications, click Add classification.
2. If you have existing classifications, under the Classification heading click the + icon.
Enter details for the classification:
1. For Untitled Classification enter the name of your classification.
2. (Optional) For Add description... enter a more detailed description of your classification.
3. (Optional) Click the Green drop-down to change the color used for the classification.
4. Click Create.

That's it — you now have a classification ready for your team to use for classifying assets! 🎉
